The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau welcomes and informs visitors and tourism trade professionals and promotes the destination Paris, in France and abroad. A platform for discussion and exchanges, the Bureau brings together 2,000 professional members and institutions for joint actions.
Paris City Hall is supporting the Soldes by Paris operation for the fourth year in a row to make the French capital the world's benchmark shopping destination. The French capital is the world's leading tourist destination with nearly 29 million visitors each year, and the fourth edition of the event demonstrates the City's desire to also turn Paris into the world's shopping capital. The operation is a unique opportunity for Paris City Hall to highlight the wealth and diversity of the Paris retail offer and further strengthen the city's reputation as an attractive shopping destination on the occasion of the winter sales.
For the fourth successive year, the Paris delegation of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry is mobilising the city's retailer associations to federate and boost Paris retail trade through a single operation taking place throughout the French capital: Soldes by Paris.
The CCIP's Paris delegation works on an everyday basis to support and boost the business of its members (62,000 stores and local shops and 1,500 hotels). It does so by helping shops and hotels to adapt to new regulations as well as the changing urban landscape and consumer spending trends. The Chamber represents its members at meetings with local authorities and public institutions on issues directly affecting their business: town planning changes, retail laws and so on. It also provides an advisory service for assignors and buyers in order to ensure that neighbourhood and local retail continues to flourish.
ATOUT FRANCE – the need to develop and adapt the French tourism offer
ATOUT FRANCE, the France Tourism Development Agency, was set up by Hervé Novelli, France's junior minister for trade, tourism and consumer affairs, to give France a single operator in the tourism sector.
The ATOUT FRANCE economic interest group involves the French government and local authorities in a partnership with tourism professionals and major sectors of the French economy. In all, the group has nearly 1,300 members representing the French tourism offer, all of which benefit from the organisation's expertise in the sector.

If you’re wondering what a “cyclobulle” is, here’s the explanation.
Cyclobulles are a new form of town transport. These chauffeur-driven electric tricycles can carry two passengers and their luggage.
Using the same concept as an electric bicycle, Cyclobulles have an electric pedal assist function to make for easy and effortless riding.
Cyclobulles are covered with a hood to keep the rider and passengers dry in wet weather.
The Cyclobulle is a green and practical means of transport over short distances in town.
